INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION

Please print the conditions for registration and registration form, so that you have all the necessary information to hand before beginning the online registration process. This process on line will start on 1st October

 

CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION:

. Maximum number of participants (Capacity of Congress): 3200 participants

. Cost of registration: €48.00/participant

. Period of pre-registration: from 1st to 15th October 2017 (please note that not all pre-registration will finally become registrations)

. Pre-registration procedure: online only (via the FIPC website)

. At the point of pre-registration it is necessary to provide the full name and date of birth of all those who are being registered: list of choristers will be detailed before 31st January 2018.

. Participants – choristers, providing they are 30 years old or under (born from 1st January 1988)

. 1 director, 1 assistant and 1 organist

. 1 adult (in charge of the choir) for each 10 choristers

. Chaplain – Ecclesiastical assistant

. Coach Driver accommodation B&B without fees of registration (no singers)

. On arrival in Barcelona each participant – director – assistant – organist- accompanying adult (Monitor) – chaplain will receive the relevant accreditation.

CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PRE-REGISTRATION:

. On 18th October the Secretary of the Congress will send the President of each Federation a list containing the names of the choirs and the number of choristers belonging to their Federation which have been pre-registered. At this point they will be informed of choir, number of choristers, day and time which can then be registered.

. A minimum of one choir for each Federation which has been pre-registered will be accepted.

. If a Federation has pre-registered more than 1 choir, admission will be proportional to the number of choristers pre-registered, time and day of inscription, (taking into account the total number of choristers which they represent and the seating capacity of the Congress).

. By the 30th October, the Secretary of Congress will contact each President to set up the list admitted Choirs (according to the number of choristers given).

 

DEFINITIVE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

.On 31st October 2017 Choirs will receive information on how to finalise their registration.

. Registration can be done between 31st October and 10th November 2017 (inclusive).

. Registration will be completed once payment of €48/participant has been made and the corresponding bank document containing proof of payment sent via e-mail. If the proof of payment is not sent before 10th November the registration will be considered void and the Choir will lose the right to register.

.All registration fees are non-refundable.

.The Secretary of the Congress will confirm registration via e-mail once payment has been received.

. No additional choristers can be enrolled.

. If a choir which has made a reservation does not send proof of payment, their place will be taken by the choir designated by the President of the corresponding Federation assigns, who will be duly informed and will have 10 days in which to pay and send the proof of payment.

 

 

PAYMENT OF ACCOMODATION AND MEALS:

Payment for accommodation, meals and any additional expenses included on the registration form can be made in 2 or 3 instalments (unless the total has been paid in the first instalment):

Registration €48 (from 1st till 10th November 2017)

20% (by 31st January 2018)

40% (by 31st March 2018)

40% (by 31st May 2018)

Useful Advice:

 

We recommend that you purchase travel cards for each participant, as offered on the registration form for travel in the city.

No discount will be made if you use your on coach.

Please take into account that no statutory coach parks are located in the city centre,

The Secretary must be notified of any alterations to the data provided, and will then register any amendments.

Coach drivers are not included as Congress participants, but they can accommodate through the organisation ONLY  B&B basis.

 

 

 

 

INFORMATION ABOUT TOURIST’S TAX in Hotel/Hostel

Tourist's taxes should be paid directly to the hotel/hostel prior to leaving. Only those who are over 16 years old are liable for this tax.

 

HOTELS 5* STARS – BARCELONA

 

Please note that a city tax will be applied from the 1st of November 2012.

The amount will be 2.50 euros per guest per night over 16 years old.

 

HOTELS 4* STARS- BARCELONA

 

Please note that a city tax will be applied from the 1st of November 2012.

The amount will be 1.25 euros per guest per night over 16 years old

HOTELS 3* / 2* / 1* AND Hostels  STARS- BARCELONA

 

Please note that a city tax will be applied from the 1st of November 2012.

The amount will be 0.75 euros per guest per night over 16 years old
